I don’t use any newsletter plugins or services, because I dislike their disregard for privacy. I recommend using the blog RSS feed with your preferred RSS feed reader:

If you want to receive an email notification when there’s a new post, you could use Feedrabbit – a free service that emails you whenever there is a new item in an RSS feed.
